Things I love that might help make your life easier. (some links might be affiliate, but you don’t pay anything extra).

Xero – They make “doing the books” super easy, promise!

Creative Market – weekly free downloads, inspiration and low-cost stuff to kick start the creative juices.

Fiverr – For that job that you know is only a few minutes (if you could only figure out how to do it in the first place).

I also recommend the back catalogue of the $100 MBA (from when they were doing daily 10-minute episodes. Disclosure – I did write Omar & Nicole some fan mail that got shared in an episode.)

The regular news and weather summaries on Radio New Zealand have been very helpful in distilling the critical news stories and some interesting commentary on the leading national and international events. They were also great sources of vital information that wasn’t a social network site after some of the big earthquakes. The  RNZ frequency is 101.0 FM north of Mt. Bruce in the Pahiatua/Eketahuna area and 101.5  FM from Mt. Bruce south to Masterton. Around election time, almost all media outlets have an agenda. The above recommendation for the content and effort does not extend to an endorsement of any political opinions.

Dragon dictation – It is still a work in progress to “train it”, but the time saved so far even “un-trained” has been well worth the investment.

Grammarly – want some confidence in your writing? The moment I found it, I knew it was an easy spend. I love the weekly summaries – talk about encouraging when you have a personal best to catch!

I would love to hear from you over on the Just Dandy Facebook page as to what are some of your great resources that you use to keep you sane.
